Before the ADSS SPOC Service can be used, several configuration tasks must be completed. The table below outlines the primary steps required to configure the service.

The order of these configuration steps is not mandatory. Administrators can revisit and modify previously completed configurations at any time, as required.

Steps

Description

Step 1:

Use the Service Manager to configure the ADSS SPOC Service. The Service Manager allows administrators to start, stop, and restart the SPOC Service as required.

Step 2:

Create and configure the national CVCA using the Register CVCA sub-module. This CVCA will be used for processing certificate requests within the SPOC environment.

Step 3:

Configure one or more foreign SPOCs in ADSS Server to enable secure communication and certificate exchange with external SPOC systems.

Step 4:

Configure one or more SPOC Profiles to define the associated CVCA and select the required request processing mode, such as Automatic or Manual processing.

Step 5:

Register one or more client applications in the Client Manager. Once registered and authorized, these applications can submit requests to the ADSS SPOC Service.
