Create an SMTP Server Connector

The SMTP Server connector allows SigningHub to connect with SMTP Server to provide email gateway services to SigningHub Desktop Web. By using this connector, SigningHub can send email notifications to the recipients. For this, SigningHub needs to be registered with the SMTP host server.

Create an SMTP Server connector

Click the "Configurations" option from the left menu.

Click the "Connectors" option.
The "Connectors" screen will appear.

Click from the grid header.

A dialog will appear to add the connector details. The connector dialog is comprised of two screens, i.e. Basic Information and Details. Specify the basic information and click the "Next" button to provide the respective connector details.

Click the "Finish" button. A new connector will be saved and displayed in the list. See the below table for fields description.

SMTP Connector
Fields	Description
Name	Specify a unique name for this connector, i.e. My SMTP Server. This connector will be used in the configuration of Global Settings.
Provider	Select the provider for this connector, i.e. "SMTP Server".
Purpose	This field will display the purpose of the selected provider above, i.e. the purpose of "SMTP Server" is "Email Gateway".
SMTP Server Address	Specify the SMTP host server, i.e. mail.mysigninghub.com SigningHub Desktop Web will use this address to connect with the SMTP server.
SMTP Server Port	Specify the server port number to connect with SigningHub. The default SMTP port is 25.
Use SSL/TLS	Tick this check box to enable mutual authentication between SigningHub and SMTP server.
Authentication Required	Tick this check box to enable server authentication. The system will require user ID and password to access the SMTP server.
User ID	Specify the user ID that has been provided by the SMTP server to access the SMTP server, i.e. admin@mailserver.com
Password	Specify the user password to access the SMTP server.
From Email Address	Specify the email address that will be as used as a "From Address" when the emails will be sent to the end users by SigningHub Desktop Web, i.e. notification@mysigninghub.com
Active	Tick this check box to make this connector active. Inactive connectors cannot be configured in the Global Settings.
