ADSS NPKD Service

The ADSS NPKD Service provides certificates and CRLs to Inspection Systems (IS) so that they can validate digital signature produced by Document Signer (DS) on E-Passport chips. ADSS NPKD Service supports BSI TR-03129 protocol for communication so client applications can use this protocol to fetch the required data.

The NPKD Service extracts the data from multiple sources to provide it to Inspection Systems. The sources includes:

ICAO-PKD: NPKD service directly communicates with ICAO PKD to retrieve foreign Mater Lists and CRLs.
Manual Upload: Master Lists, CRLs, and Document Signer certificates can be manually imported by an operator to NPKD Service.
