Master Lists
The CSCA Certificates are uploaded and downloaded to ICAO PKD in the form of Master Lists. The CSCA Certificates are the root certificates and used as trust anchors. Master List contain the CSCA and link certificates that are signed by Master List signer certificate. The purpose of the master list is to share the CSCA and link CSCA certificates to other member states and countries. The state or country receiving the master lists can verify the authenticity and integrity of its data.
There are two types of Master Lists that are being managed by NPKD Service:
- Domestic Master Lists
- Foreign Master Lists
