LTANS Service

The ADSS LTANS Service provides long-term archiving and notary services based on the IETF LTANS draft and the RFC 6283 XML Evidence Record Syntax (ERS) standard.

The service generates Evidence Records (ERS) for requesting client applications, such as document or records management systems. The LTANS Service is packaged and licensed as part of ADSS Archive Server.

ADSS Archive Server provides secure, long-term archiving of corporate documents, emails, and other data using digital signatures and timestamping technologies. If required, the original data can also be archived together with the ERS data generated by the LTANS Service.

Administrators can define different archive policies to specify how long data should be retained and when the associated Evidence Records should be refreshed to maintain their long-term validity.
