Configuring the LTANS Service

The following steps provide an overview of the main tasks required to configure the ADSS LTANS Service.

The steps do not need to be performed in a specific order. You can return to any previously completed step and update the configuration as required..

Steps	Description
Step 1:	Register the required Timestamp Authorities under External Services > Timestamping. These Timestamp Authorities are used to timestamp archived data and Evidence Records.
Step 2:	Configure the required LTANS profile(s) to define the archiving settings and processing requirements for the service.
Step 3:	Register the client application(s) in the Client Manager. Registered client applications can then submit requests to the ADSS LTANS Service.
Step 4:	Use the ADSS LTANS Service Manager to start or stop the service and configure other service-specific settings.
