ADSS OCSP Monitor can be configured to send email and/or SMS alerts to selected operator(s) when these events occur:

  • Failed to compose OCSP request
  • Target OCSP responders unavailable
  • Failed to verify OCSP response
  • Unexpected result returned for test case 
  • If an internal error has occurred
  • If the OCSP Monitor service is unable to use log signing key at auto-archiving time
  • When archiving has successfully completed


System operators who will receive these alerts can be configured here as well.

The configuration items are as follows:

Items

Description

Failed to compose OCSP request

When enabled, an alert is sent whenever service failed to compute OCSP response.

Target OCSP responders unavailable 

When enabled, an alert is sent whenever service failed to access OCSP responder.

Failed to verify OCSP response

When enabled, an alert is sent whenever service failed to verify OCSP response.

Unexpected result returned for test case

When enabled, an alert is sent whenever a test case failed and result is not according to expectation.

Internal error occurred (Reason: database not accessible etc)

When enabled, the ADSS OCSP Monitor sends an email alert when an internal error has occurred (e.g. database is not accessible).

Unable to use log signing Key at auto-archiving time 

When enabled, ADSS OCSP Monitor sends an email alert when it is unable to use the Log Signing Key at auto-archiving time. 

Note: The Log Signing Key is configured in Global Settings > System Certificates module.

When archiving is performed 

When enabled, ADSS OCSP Monitor sends an email alert whenever auto-archiving is performed.
