On-premises installation

The SigningHub for Dynamics CRM app installation that is done on a privately deployed Dynamics CRM environment, is called an on-premises installation.

Installation prerequisites
There are two prerequisites of an on-premises installation, i.e.:
  1. Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 or Microsoft Dynamics 365 should be configured in the environment.
  2. The operator installing the SigningHub for Dynamics CRM app should have the "System Administrator" rights in the Dynamics CRM environment.

Installing the SigningHub for Dynamics CRM package
To do an on-premises installation of the SigningHub for Dynamics CRM app:
  1. Browse your locally deployed instance of Dynamics CRM and login through CRM administrator user and password (active directory credentials).
  2. Click the "Microsoft Dynamics CRM" option and then click the "Settings" module.



  3. Click the "Settings" option, and click the "Solutions" option.



  4. The "All Solutions" screen will appear, click the "Import" option.



  5. A dialog will appear, click the "Choose File" option and browse the (SigningHub for Dynamics CRM) package file from your local system. Click the "Next" button to continue.
    The package file can be downloaded from SigningHub.



  6. Click the "Import" button to continue. The installation will begin, let it complete.



  7. Once the installation is complete, click the "Close" button.



  8. The SigningHub for Dynamics CRM app is installed and shown in the "All Solutions" screen. Clear your browser cache and re-login to your account to view and navigate your installed app.



  9. To view the installed app, click the "Settings" option, scroll to the right side till you reach the "SigningHub Configuration" option being displayed under "Extensions".



1. ​The package file for the on-premises installation of SigningHub for Dynamics CRM can be downloaded from the SigningHub website.
2. At times SigningHub for Dynamics CRM does not appear under the "Extensions" tab even after successful installation. When you happen to come across such a situation, then clear your browser cache and re-login to your Office 365 account to view and navigate the installed app.
