Report Settings
The Report Settings sub-module allows users to configure options for digitally signing reports before they are exported. Since reports are exported in PDF format, clients may require these reports to be signed during the export process.

The Report Settings sub-module is accessible only when it is enabled through the following path: User Manager → Roles → Global Setting → Report Settings |
Navigate to Management Reporting > Report Settings tab to see the page below:
The configuration items are as follows:

Description |
Enable Report Signing |
Click on this checkbox to enable the report signing settings. |
Report Signing Certificate |
Select a certificate from the drop-down menu to sign reports. This certificate is used to digitally sign reports, ensuring their authenticity and integrity. The drop-down menu lists certificates that have already been configured in the Key Manager specifically for document signing purposes. |
Signature Level |
Use the drop-down menu to select the type of signature to be generated during the signing process. For example, AdES-B-B. |
Hash Algorithm |
The selected hashing algorithm is used within the signature generation process. These algorithms are supported:

Signature Visibility |
Enable this checkbox to define visibility and appearance location of the signature. |
Use a PDF editor to draw signature field(s) as required |
If this option is selected then signing location(s) can be defined by opening the target PDF in the PDF editor. |
PDF Signature Location |
This option becomes available only when the Use a PDF editor to draw signature field(s) as required setting is selected. It allows users to specify the PDF signature location, which will be stored and utilized for placing the signature fields. |
Use a default signing field |
If selected then following option are shown: 1. Default Signing Area This option allows you to select a default location on the page where the signature appearance will be stamped. You have choices of:
If this does not adequately position the signature field on a document (e.g. engineering drawings have specific requirements where the signature field should go) then use the precise locations option. 2. Signing Page This defines which page of the document to sign on when using a default signing location. 3. Signature Appearance Select one of the PDF Signature Appearances already generated as mentioned in the section PDF Visible Signatures. |
Invisible Signature Settings |
If 'Signature Visibility' checkbox is disabled, then invisible signature settings will be applied. In this case, only Signature Reason, Signature Location, and Contact Information options will be available. |
Signature Reason |
Use this field to specify the reason for signing, applicable to both visible and invisible signatures. If set for a visible signature, this value takes precedence and overrides any value configured in the signature appearance settings. |
Signature Location |
Use this field to define the signing location for both visible and invisible signatures. If configured for a visible signature, this value will override the location specified in the signature appearance settings. |
Contact Information |
Use this field to provide contact details for both visible and invisible signatures. If configured for a visible signature, this value will take priority and override the contact information in the signature appearance settings. |
