DS Certificates
The DS Certificate are issued by CSCA certificate to generate digital signatures in order to ensure integrity of data on E-Passport. DS Certificates can be imported to NPKD Service either manually by an operator or downloaded from ICAO PKD.
Clicking on DS Certificates inside Manage Certificates will lead us to the screen below:
The configuration of the items are as follows:
Item | Description |
Subject DN | Subject DN displays the the identifying information of the DS Certificate that are part of certificate itself. |
Issuer DN | Issuer DN displays the identifying information of the CSCA that has issued the DS certificate. |
Valid From | This field displays the issuance date and time of the DS certificate. |
Valid To | This field displays the expiry date and time of the DS certificate. |
Country | This field displays the country for which the DS Certificate has been issued. |
Source | This field displays the source from where the DS Certificates has been imported. We can import a certificate by either:

Status | This field displays the current status of the certificate that can be either 'Valid or 'Invalid'. |
Import DS Certificates | This button allows the operator to import a DS Certificate locally from the system. Clicking on this button will lead the operator to the new screen. |
View Details | By clicking on this button, a new screen showing the details of the selected certificate will be displayed. |
Publish to ICAO | By clicking on this button, the selected DS Certificate will be published to ICAO PKD. |
Delete | By clicking on this button, the selected DS Certificate will be removed. |
