A Subscriber Agreement can be any legal notice or terms of service that end-users must agree to when requesting their digital certificates. These agreements are explicitly presented to end-users while submitting certification issuance requests via the ADSS Web RA portal, and formal consent from the user is required.

ADSS Web RA allows users to configure service agreements based on their business requirements.

  • Only an active Subscriber Agreement can be configured in a certification profile.
  • A Subscriber Agreement cannot be made inactive or deleted if it is already configured in a certification profile.

Steps to configure a Subscriber Agreement:

  1. Create a Subscriber Agreement
  2. Link the Subscriber Agreement to a Certification Profile
  3. The Certification Profile is then configured in a Service Plan.
  4. The Service Plan is assigned to an Enterprise.
  5. When a user submits a new request via the ADSS Web RA portal and selects the certification profile (which has the subscriber agreement configured), the relevant Subscriber Agreement will be displayed to the user. The user must agree to this agreement in order to proceed with the request.
