Administrator's portal is used to configure the ADSS Web RA service. An administrator can change the general configurations of the system as well as configure external services to interact with. These services can be anything from SMTP to a ADSS Server profile configuration that can be used to request the certificates.

The changes made in this section are applicable at the application level so be careful when the application is running in the production environment. It is always have a good practice that you have a pre-production/staging environment when you test the changes before applying the production.

Configurations are classified into seven groups. Upon fresh installation, most of the settings come with a default value and you might not need to change them except few options e.g. the application URLs etc. but in a production environment, we highly recommend you to go through all the configurations and update them according to your needs.

The global configurations are classified in the following sections:

  1. General Settings - Generic settings for the service including the application name and service URLs. This must be updated according to an application's URLs.

  1. Default Settings - Some of the default settings that need to be configured for the service e.g., default language, default time zone, etc.

  1. Device Enrolment - Settings related to the SCEP configuration.

  1. Application Integration - ADSS Web RA allows the registration, enrolment and vetting a user of a digital certificate using an easy-to-use mobile application via integration.

  1. Policy - It enables a user to verify the key ownership, signature algorithm, strength of key exponents & modulus, Debian weak key, key lengths and key reuse while creating a CSR certificate.

  1. System Security - It allows a user to add security settings to the entire application.

  1. License - Allows a user to upload ADSS Web RA license.

  1. Branding - An operator can re-brand the ADSS Web RA Admin Portal according to his organization theme e.g. changing application colours, logo etc.

  1. Archiving - Archiving removes data from the active system and speeds up the response time while enabling fewer processing times.
