Google Captcha
Introduction
Google Captcha allows Web RA to distinguish humans from bots and provides foolproof security against spam attacks or automated extraction of data from the system. When configured, Google Captcha is shown on the following pages:
- Web RA Admin Login
- Web RA Admin Forgot Password
- Web RA User Login
- Web RA User Registration
- Web RA User Forgot Password
How it Works?
- It is highly recommended by Ascertia to configure the Google Captcha to mitigate the denial of service attacks
- Google Captcha is a free service and you are only required a valid Google Account to create the captcha credentials
- Click here for the instructions to create the Google reCaptcha credentials
- When three consecutive failed password attempts are made on the above mentioned pages then Google Captcha will be launched to verify that you are not a robot
- In a restricted environment where is no internet on the Web RA Server, it is required to open the outbound internet traffic only on the Web RA Server for the Google Captcha to work. If the internet is not accessible on the Web RA Server then Google Captcha will not be loaded.
