By default all your documents are listed in the "Inbox" folder. SigningHub enables you to create custom folders and shared spaces to organise your documents as required. You can freely move your files from one folder to another, and can also move them back to their previous folder. However as a shared space collaborator, you can only move Draft documents to the shared spaces.

Move a document

There are two methods that can be used to move a document package into a custom folder or a shared space. The two methods are as following:

  1. Drag and Drop Method
  2. Point and Click Method


Drag and Drop Method:

  1. Click the "Documents" option, available at the top of the SigningHub screen.
  2. From your document listing, locate and select the document package(s) to move.



  1. Navigate your mouse cursor to any of the highlighted document package. Click-and-hold the left mouse button and drag the selection onto the desired custom folder/shared space to which you want to move the document package(s).



  1. Once on top of the desired custom folder/shared space, release the left mouse button, and the document package(s) will be moved. The folder name will be shown in the "Location" column against the document package(s), as shown below:




Point and Click Method:

  1. Click the "Documents" option, available at the top of the SigningHub screen.
  2. From your documents list, locate and select the document(s) to move.



  1. Click the three dots menu  and select the "Move To" option. 
  2. A dialog box will appear listing all your custom folders and shared spaces, select the one to which you want to move the selected document package(s).



  1. Click the "Move" button. Your document package(s) will be moved to the selected custom folder/ shared space. The folder name will be shown in the "Location" column against the document package(s), as shown below:



  1. ​You can click a folder name (available in the left menu) to view its documents.
  2. If the "Archiving" feature is enabled in the service plan, the "Archive" folder appears on the left menu. 
  3. Completed and Declined documents can be moved to the Archive folder, via the:
    • Point and Click Method, as shown below:
    • Drag and Drop Method, as shown below:
  1. ​You can click the archive folder (available in the left menu) to view its documents.
  2. ​You can click a shared space (available in the left menu) to view its documents.
  3. As a document owner, you can only move your Completed and Declined documents to the archive folder.
  4. As a shared space collaborator, you can only move Draft documents to the shared spaces.
  5. Only those shared spaces will be available for selection that are related to you, i.e.:
    • The shared spaces you own, and
    • The shared spaces in which you are a collaborator.
