Roles
The term “role” defines a set of privileges on the ADSS system. The privileges determine which modules and sub-modules the role can access. Furthermore the privileges determine if full access is granted (i.e. ability to create, edit and delete records) or only read-access.
Click on the Manage Roles button to see a list of the roles currently defined on ADSS Server:
To create a new role - click the New button. Similarly, to edit or delete an existing role press the relevant buttons. Note a role cannot be deleted if it is being held by a user on the system. Therefore first you need to either delete the user account or assign the user a different role, before deleting the role.
