Configuring the HMAC Service

The following are the steps to be taken to configure the ADSS HMAC Service. The order in which the steps are defined is not important since it is easy to go back to an earlier step and also make changes later if required.

 Steps Description
Step 1 Generate the required keys for the HMAC Service using the Key Manager. HMAC service requires HMAC keys where one of the keys will be use to generate OAuth tokens and others to compute HMAC and these will be configured in HMAC Service profiles.
Step 2 Configure one or more HMAC Profiles for different clients by using one or multiple HMAC keys. Every profile can have its own distinct HMAC key.
Step 3 Use the ADSS HMAC Service Manager to start/stop/restart the service. ADSS HMAC Service is required to be restarted when a HMAC Profile is added/updated/deleted.
