Managing your legal notices

SigningHub enables you to manage the legal notices that need to be agreed by the signers during workflow. The signers must have to agree with the legal notice to sign/ review the document. The individual and enterprise users can manage (Add, Edit, and Delete) their personal legal notices, while the enterprise users can also use the enterprise legal notices, as maintained by their enterprise admin.

To view the enterprise legal notices (applicable to enterprise users only), 
  1. Click the "Settings" option from the top menu.
  2. Click the "Legal Notices" option from the right menu. 
  3. Select 'Enterprise' from the "Legal Notices" drop down available at top left corner of the screen. The adjacent count shows the number of available enterprise legal notices. 
  4. To view your personal legal notices, select 'Personal' from the "Legal Notices" drop down. The adjacent count shows the number of available personal legal notices. 
To add a new legal notice,
  1. Click the "Settings" option from the top menu.
  2. Click the "Legal Notices" option from the right menu.
  3. Click  from the main grid header. The "Add Legal Notice" dialog will appear.
  4. Specify name and description for this legal notice.
  5. Click the "Save" button.
    The saved notices can be used during template creation and signing workflow configurations.
To edit an existing legal notice, 
  1. Click the "Settings" option from the top menu.
  2. Click the "Legal Notices" option from the right menu. 
    In case you are logged in as an Enterprise user, select 'Personal' from the "Legal Notices" drop down available at top left corner of the screen.
  3. Click  adjacent to the legal notice (to edit) from the main grid. The "Add Legal Notice" dialog will appear in editable mode.
  4. Edit the required content, i.e. name or description.
  5. Click the "Save" button.
To delete an existing legal notice, 
  1. Click the "Settings" option from the top menu.
  2. Click the "Legal Notices" option from the right menu. 
    In case you are logged in as an Enterprise user, select 'Personal' from the "Legal Notices" drop down available at top left corner of the screen.
  3. Select the legal notice from the main grid.
  4. Click  from the main grid header.

An Enterprise user cannot edit or delete the enterprise legal notice(s).
