Configuring your signature settings

SigningHub allows users with appropriate role privileges to control their digital signature configuration options.  The signing methods for web browsers, signing methods for mobile apps and the signing reason can be configured.   Users can switch between local signing and central signing.   

To configure signature settings,
  1. Click the "Settings" option from the top menu.
  2. Click the "Signatures" option from the right menu.
  3. Click the "Signature Settings" tab. The first tab i.e. "Signature Settings" will be opened by default.

  4. Configure the "Signing Method for Web Browsers" section by selecting the desired signing method.
    • Tick the "Server-side Signing" option, if you want to enable server-side signing for the web browsers.
    • Tick the "Client-side (local) Signing" option, if you want to enable client-side signing for the web browsers.
    • Tick the "Mobile Signing" option, if you want to enable mobile signing for the web browsers.

  5. Configure the "Signing Method for Mobile Apps" section by selecting the desired signing method.
    • Tick the "Server-side Signing" option, if you want to enable server-side signing for the mobile apps.
    • Tick the "Client-side (local) Signing" option, if you want to enable client-side signing for the mobile apps.

  6. Configure the "Additional Signature Information" section.
    • Specify the signing reason that will become the permanent part of the PDF signature. This can optionally be shown in the signed PDF document, if the used signature appearance contains the signing reason.
    • Specify the location of signing that will become the permanent part of the PDF signature. This can optionally be shown in the signed PDF document, if the used signature appearance contains the location information.
    • Specify the contact information that will become the permanent part of the PDF signature. This can optionally be shown in the signed PDF document, if the used signature appearance contains the contact information.

  7. Click the "Save" button.
