Configuring workflow completion report

SigningHub gives you an option to publish your completed workflow reports along with the completed documents on a specific web server. This configuration is reflected at enterprise level. When enabled, SigningHub starts posting the workflow reports on the server for each completed workflow by any enterprise user within your enterprise. This is useful in case an enterprise requires to have the audit trail of their completed workflows.

To publish the workflow completion report,
  1. Login with the enterprise admin credentials.
  2. Click the "Enterprise" option from the top menu.
  3. Click the "Integrations" option from the right menu.
  4. Click the "Workflow Completion Report" tab.

  5. Tick the "Send workflow completion report" check box.
  6. Specify the web server URL in the next appearing field, and click the "Test" option to verify this URL.
The system will publish the workflow completion report (in the XML format) on the specified URL. However, if the URL is invalid, the system will send an email to the enterprise admin upon workflow completion.
  7. Tick the "Add completed document in report" check box if you want to receive the completed document as well along with the workflow completion report.
  8. Click the "Save" button.

Sample XML
The XML of workflow completion report is composed of a header and all the actions that have been performed on the document, i.e. Opened, Closed, Signed, Reviewed, Declined, etc. A sample XML that is published on server is explained below.
  1. The XML header shows the "Document ID", "Document Name", "Document Type", and "Document" information. However, the "Document" tag is optional and shows the base 64 encoded bytes of the document.
  2. Each action performed on the document is logged in the form of action tags. You can expand any action tag to view its associated details. For example, this action shows the "Date Time" on which action was performed, the "Type" of action, the "User ID" who performed the action, the "Enterprise Name" to whom user belongs, the "Information Type & Value" through which (medium) document was accessed.
For more details regarding logged actions see document logs.

The availability of "Workflow completion report" feature is subject to your subscribed service plan. If you cannot find this option in your account,  upgrade your service plan.
