November 2020

New Features

  • SigningHub Mobile Web and Native apps (Android and iOS) now support Cloud Signature Consortium (CSC) v1.0.4.0  APIs.  This adds to CSC support introduced in SigningHub v7.7.9.
  • XML signing can now be done using local smartcards or USB tokens, server held keys including Advanced and Qualified Remote Signing or via CSC signing services.
  • All SigningHub signing profiles now only support PKCS#1.   CSC uses PKCS#1 raw signatures and to simplify configurations SigningHub now expects to send hash signing requests and receive PKCS#1 responses from all ADSS Server signing services.
  • SigningHub now supports Long Term Validation (LTV) signatures by default, this no longer requires any LTV configuration in ADSS Server signing profiles.  LTV also include timestamps and the time stamp authority still needs to be configured.

Discontinued Features

  • XML signing configurations have been removed and now use the same signing profiles used for PDF document signing.
  • Support for PKCS#7 signatures has been removed - as mentioned above SigningHub is following international standards and only expecting to use PKCS#1.
