Improvements in this release

  • Security Improvements for session management - (SHE-27811)
    • Improvements have been made to improve user session management.
  • Image Rendering Improvements - (SHE-27981)
    • Improvements have been made to render images faster in SigningHub templates.
  • Chromium Compatibility Improvements - (SHE-27053)
    • Improvements have been made to make SigningHub print feature compatible with Google Chrome 90.1.0 browser.
  • Enhancement Connector for Signature and Timestamping (SHE-27991)
    • SigningHub now uses Enhancement Connector for signature and document timestamp (signature enhancement) for all supported signing servers.
  • Performance Improvements - (SHE-27713)
    • Improvements have been made for faster uploading and signing of documents
  • XAdES-X-L (XAdES-X with Long-term Validation Data) Signature Validation - (SHE-27938)
    • SigningHub now validates XAdES-X-L (XAdES-X with Long-term Validation Data) signature on specific XML documents.
  • E-Seal and AES Signature Improvements (SHE-26502)
    • Improvements have been made for PAdES Part 2 and PAdES Part 4 signatures to validate E-Seals and AES signatures when OCSP configured as the validation policy under revocation settings.
  • Register Enterprise User API Improvements - (SHE-27897)
    • The response status of the Register Enterprise User API has been updated in this release.
  • Signature field name having the dot – (SHE-27943)
    • SigningHub now allows entering a dot in the “Field Name” when signing documents.
  • PDF/A validation failure due to missing RGB profile – (SHE-27632)
    • Improvements have been made for PDF/A compliant documents. Now SigningHub always sets the RGB profile.
  • PDF/A Conformance problems with Invisible Signatures – (SHE-27606)
    • SigningHub has been updated to create PDF/A documents with invisible signatures.
  • Support for pre-signed PDF and PDF/A documents – (SHE-27707, SHE-27708)
    • When PDF/A compliance is enabled in the service plan, digitally Signed PDF/A documents remain in the PDF/A format they were uploaded in and are no longer converted to PDF/A-2A. Non-PDF/A documents are prevented from uploaded.
  • Converting PDF/A Versions – (SHE-26429)
    • When PDF/A compliance is enabled in the service plan, SigningHub will preserve the PDF/A version on the document being uploaded for:
      • PDF/A-1 A and B
      • PDF/A-2 A, B and U
      • PDF/A-3 A, B and U
  • SigningHub PDF/A conformance checking creating temp files – (SHE-27987)
    • SigningHub PDF/A conformance checking no longer happens immediately during document upload, this stops the creation of temporary files in c:\windows\temp.
  • Login to SigningHub via SharePoint Integration (SHE-27744)
    • SigningHub has been updated to correct logon issues for the SigningHub for SharePoint Integration.
